Joerg Ermann, MD

Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School

Dr. Ermann is a rheumatologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. He is a native of Germany and received his MD from the University of Leipzig. After a postdoctoral fellowship in immunology at Stanford University and internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Memphis, he completed his subspecialty training in rheumatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His laboratory investigates disease mechanisms relevant to spondyloarthritis using mouse models and translational research approaches. He is the Vice Chair of SPARTAN and chairs the SPARTAN Governance Committee.
